Like many others in this economy, I found myself in a situation where I needed to sell my motorcycle. To make matters worse, I needed to sell my bike quickly. I thought about all of the usual ways of selling a motorcycle like ads in newspapers or posting my bike online in places like ebay or craigslist.
Newspapers are expensive and even ebay isn’t really all that cheap, plus, when you’re trying to sell your motorcycle, you never know who you’ll be dealing with. Then I thought “do I really want to take the chance of strangers coming over with wife and new baby there?” So I did some searching and found a site that said they were professional buyers of used motorcycles.
Then did some additional checking on them and found they have an excellent reputation of being fair in the prices they offer and that they would handle any details of dealing with the bank for payoff on the bike etc. Also learned that they would pick up the bike from my location (that really helped because it would be hard to ride it in the snow to get to them – LOL) BTW – here was another consideration in trying to sell my motorcycle, hard to sell a bike during the winter.
Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I sold my bike without hassle. They took care of everything. Saved a lot of money that I would have spent trying to sell it on my own.
